Birding
The Rwenzori mountains are a birders paradise with 19 Albertine rift endemic species such as the Rwenzori Turaco. The 75 mile long Rwenzori mountain range surrounded by the vast Rwenzori mountains national park is home to 217 bird species and 70 mammals including several primate species.
The rich vegetation cover of the national park makes it a safe haven for different wildlife.
